Game is not faster. EA increased pass speed in title update 9 but you can change it. Pass speed 20 + sprint speed 33/34 and game is again slow.

I'm sorry guys but the problem with this and every EA game I can remember since PS3 is extremely rigid. Tactics and roles ruined this game for us career moders. They thought, and claimed the AI was better, but they actually put everyone in a box, literally. I really like the idea, but the execution was very poor. Maybe next year.

well, look the answer is no. The real problem beside the midfielders not tracking back and not helping the defense line (the same goes for the fullbacks) is that there is no zone defending in the game play code. So the deal is that if you dribble past one of the center-backs and sprint towards the goal the other cb will not come to block if there is another striker or attacking midfielder or any attacking player near him!!!!! which shows how bad it has become. the game was never like this in until fifa 18. I didn't play fifa 19-20-21 and started again by fifa 22 and saw this game play malfunction which has ruined fifa ( Because I have played fifa since fifa 94).



Oh and yes I know that you have to control your DM / FB and switch a lot to bring them back but when the opponent attacks with a bunch of players there is no way you can 100% defend.


I play career mode with ac Milan and have a lot of clean-sheets every season but the game is not like real football. all I asked multiple times on ea forums and etc was to bring back the fifa 17 defense mechanism..that's all we need. just give us an option to play with fifa 17 game play+ new animations.. this is not hard. If they bring back FIFA 17 game play with the player animations/ physical motions than you will have a solid football game which would sell for a high price. but no one cares to answer to this win-win plan .


at last I thank MAtt10 and his team for giving us these sliders which make the game tolerable GOD BLESS you guys.
