AI momentum shifts feel "gamey" and unrealistic

Has anyone else noticed the ridiculous AI momentum shifts this year?

Playing Fleetwood Town CM in League 1, I'm 5 games into the season and each game has been a draw. Here's why:

I score first.
CPU all of a sudden scores easily, almost immediately, tying the game.
Continue this pattern until the end of full time, resulting in a draw.

I understand that the CPU is probably shifting to a more aggressive attack style/tactics upon conceding a goal, but it doesn't feel natural or fluid. Each time they seem to gain a suspicious boost to pass accuracy and play development - as if a "god mode, comeback option" has been switched on.

It feels terrible and not at all realistic. I'm using Matt's Community Sliders btw, with minor pass assists - World Class, Slow.

Did a bunch of research - this momentum shift is nothing new I guess and everyone is complaining about it, especially this year.

So now I have a different question - are there any PC mods which wipe it out or make career mode more playable? I'd consider ditching my console version for a modded PC version because as is CM is sh!t.

Yeah it's so frustrating.
I feel like since the latest patch It's literally impossible to stop the Cpu tying the game.
I'm considering selling the game to my friend :/
