This game sucks. Help me fix it

PES is the way to go this year for single player. FIFA cares less and less each year on the single player modes, as it's all about the Ultimate Team and that freemium type cash it brings in for EA. The only time I bust out FIFA this year is if I have friends over, as FIFA is better for co-op and multiplayer.

I dunno wtf is going on but I somehow keep getting these "glitched" matches where the CPU once they get across midfield will just sprint with the ball, no passing at all until they get to the goal. It's terribly frustrating and takes all the joy out of the game. I'm playing Barcelona against Real Madrid just now an Modric took the ball from midfield, sprinted through every defender like they were asleep and scored. Altho these glitches aren't every game, they are enough to make me infuriated beyond belief. I've tried restarting, changing CPU tactics, screaming obscenities at my ps4, now I'm at a loss at wat is causing this to occur, seemingly only to me because I see no other complaints on the forum at this time. Suggestions are welcome and encouraged at this point.

Maybe cause you're defending poorly.
CPU's tried this before with me, but once you learn how to defend well, this type of action really shouldn't pose too many problems.

Granted, it's still way unrealistic though, but so might your defending be.

I knew once I got the notification before even reading your post you were going to criticize my defending, I have seen you on the forum. My defending has nothing to do with the unrealistic play style the CPU adopts in certain random matches, and usually I can just step up and tackle them right away and disposess the ball. I gave you one instance where a goal was scored, I didn't give you the 50 other times where the CPU dribbled straight at me and I took the ball away. Thanks for the non-help with my issue though.

Could you see if it's FT control? I started seeing this a lot more with a bump to 60-70 range. Maybe try lower or even above that.

I shall try that out as soon as I get home, I have restarted this match several times with the same results so I should be able to see if there are any noticeable effects to changes to the sliders with the play style. Currently running at 65 first touch. Thanks for the suggestion.
