I updated all of the NHL players attributes based on the 2013-14 season and have gone through most, if not all, of the AHL players and updated their attributes as well. Really, I do this for every player I edit, including prospects.

cool....but how do you come up with the numbers based on stats?

I use scales of stats to determine the passing, shooting accuracy, and offensive awareness ratings and read scouting reports to determine the rest. Most of the scouting reports are either from The Hockey News or Hockey's Future.
