Theories on increasing CPU shots on goal?

Just curious if anyone has any ideas on increasing the low shot on goal totals for the CPU? I play on Superstar, and can consistently hold the CPU to shot totals in the teens to lower 20's. Things I have considered:

1) Increasing CPU pass accuracy

2) Increasing CPU shot accuracy

3) Waiting for the new tuner set to see if that makes a difference

As of now I have CPU pass accuracy low, and see their pass totals in the 70% range (which I like). My fear of increasing their pass accuracy is that these realistic totals will get too far out of whack.

As far as shot accuracy goes, I have it currently set at 3/3 (human/CPU) and goalie reaction speed at 3/0. If I raise shot accuracy, my first impulse is to up my goalie slider one click to help prevent a ton of goals --- they score 2-3 goals per game as it is right now despite their low shot totals.

Thoughts? Theories?

I play on PRO with CPU difficulty slider at 3. Only tweaked a few other sliders. The CPU easily matches me or outshoots me. I've seen 45+ shots from the CPU.

Its a tough one FM as theres tons of different combinations but I found having effect attributes lower makes doing everything tougher so maybe thats a options to get more shots for cpu less blocks ect.
But Ill tell you after 4 days of tweaking on tuners V1 and V2 I just cant get around the cpu boost stuff so Im taking some time off do to some built in game hardcoded AI tactics .
Your sliders seem very fair so other than raising cpu Shot acc and Pass acc I dont know what you can try but then raise your goalie reaction.
I will say on superstar your gonna get more forced cpu goals at key times less forgiving.
One last try maybe go down to Allstar and lower attribute effects to 0 .
Wish I could help more

Re: Theories on increasing CPU shots on goal?

I'm still experimenting...I just increased the CPU passing accurtacy to 2 clicks (matching mine), and also increased their shot accuracy to 4 clicks (mine is at 3) -- I also upped my goalie reaction slider to 4 clicks (set at 4/0).

The result? I beat Ottawa 7-1...shots were 26-23 (11 minute periods) for Philly. I totally dominated this one from start to finish. Both team's pass accuracy was at 81%, so not too bad. I may change the goalie reaction slider to 4/1 or 3/0 to see how that goes.

I have to stay on Superstar...All-Star is too easy for me and I outshoot the CPU by 10-20 shots every game.

Re: Theories on increasing CPU shots on goal?

The cpu simply passes far to often in the game, hopefully but not likely the next tuner update will help. To bad there isn't a cpu pass, shoot % sliders or something like that in the game.
