The hitting usually i think is a user controlled thing, If you try to take a lot more chances with passing and holding onto the puck for an extra second to make the pass you'll get hit a lot more by the CPU. However you also need to hit as well, i found that if i spend little time hitting the CPU and more time moving the puck they tend to hit far less then if i am jumping all over them at every turn. Here's a game i just played against Edmonton, i hit them a fair bit and they seems to come back just as hard.

Now while there weren't 44 hits as you can see i didn't hold the puck a lot as I'm trying to find a scoring touch, so i spent a lot of time peppering the Bulin wall with shots

I tried your sliders again, but the issue I seem to have now, is that the CPU does not shoot, yet they can score at will. I was playing Philly as Vancouver and had outshot them 18-2 end of the 1st. End of the 2nd, Philly finally reached 13 shots.

How do you get the CPU to shoot more or is this an issue this year??

I just had the same issue with Pittsburgh they had only about 14 shots at games end and 4 goals to go along with that, and that was after almost a full OT as well. I think it just depends on the individual teams offensive strategy and the players on the team. As you can see Edmonton fired 30 at me.

Picked yourself what i think is the best Slider set available right now. A few tweaks for the individual players skills and they are amazing. Thanks in part to mkharsh33 of course

Re: **mkharsh33 NHL 11 All-Star Sliders**

Got 2 games in today with the new tuner set... I must admit I'm pretty impressed and enjoyed the games. I was Pittsburgh and played two games against Atlanta (cpu).

I lost the first game 4-1 and won the 2nd game 5-4. The stats played out quite differently for both games, and they didn't feel "canned."

I guess the concerns we collectively have are this:

- how to get the cpu more shots...
- raise passing speed? (I'll play with raising it one click)
- raise hitting power? (I'll experiment with raising that 1 click)

but it's the cpu shots that still concern us... anyone have any ideas on this, but without making it "cheese" for the cpu's advantage in which you feel powerless?

thanks guys... again, nothing new posted in post #1, but I'll let you know when I do. I have to be gone to church in a little while, but tonight I'll play a few more games and provide any changes.

hopefully by tonight we'll have some feedback here on the cpu shot totals as well.

thanks! mike

Re: **mkharsh33 NHL 11 All-Star Sliders**

I dont know harsh im seeing some games where a really good team isnt shooting much (Pittsburgh for one) and then other games like some of the ones i have posted where the computer is putting up almost 30. I think its really just the game and the CPUs non desire to shoot anything that isnt a for sure hit.

Re: **mkharsh33 NHL 11 All-Star Sliders**

Version 4.00 noted in first post...

2 changes:

- raised pass speed from 1 to 2. personally i think it's a subtle thing, but still noticeable. the passing with the right trigger (360) is pressure sensitive, so I don't think it's a big deal, but it may help the cpu move the puck.

- raised hitting power for both user and cpu from 0 to 1. checking animations looked a bit improved and the hit totals did raise in the test games i played.

now, i need you guys' opinion on something... i've noticed on this latest tuning update that the puck sometimes (not always) seems to have a "ping pong" effect in which it really seems to move. so here's what i need you guys to look for:

should shot power be lowered from 4 to 3, but i would only do this for the user. i don't want to tinker with the cpu because i'm liking the variety of scores (hey, i got killed 8-2 tonight as ottawa vs. the rangers, and i never felt cheated). but i've noticed this more from user shots and i felt i got a couple "cheese" goals because of this. let me know what you guys think / are seeing.

thanks!
