Tried the sliders last night. Best I've tried so far... tho I won 8-4.

So I'm going to try with 10min periods for starter and see how it goes. Hopefully I lose.

Well with these sliders I suddenly ended up getting hammered by CPU when playing away games.

So working on my own tweak where human has +1 accel. At least all cpu players aren't faster than all my players... much more even now (and realistic imo).

I just started my Be a GM after editing the rosters for 2 months. I needed to find a good slider set so I started to test some out last night.

I started with TNKGMs(spelling) slider set but the shots were too soft and it was too easy. I then tried OGB's slider set but the hitting was too powerful and unrealistic. The game was too fast. I was dangling around with guys like John Scott lol..

So then I tried this slider set and it's a good challenge for me. The shots are realistically hard just like OGB's which is great. The computer plays well and gives me a bit of a challenge. The games are close and I win a lot but I am also very good at this game. I think I am 3-1 so far with these sliders.

The hitting is very realistic since you get a lot of those medium bumps that you see in real hockey games. It isn't a check fest like it is in online games.

The acceleration is perfect. It's just like real hockey since it takes some time to get up to speed. The fatigue factor is also a nice touch.

The goalie perform well too!

I will try to upload some highlights as I go along. So far so good.

Thanks for the feedback Hawkey, would love to see some highlights...I've had some streaks too where I think the sliders may be a bit easy but then I'll lose 3 in a row as the CPU puts me back in my place...

I tried these out with 10 min periods and put user acceleration up to 1 as suggested above. I lost, but the game overall felt good and I could move the puck around in the offensive zone, I just stunk it up on defense and my power play was horrible.

I started using OBG's slider set but like you found the game to just be too easy on All-Star. These sliders are great for the move up to Superstar, really play very nicely. I did move Human ACCEL up to one just because I felt like my defense (even guys like Letang) were beat to every single dump even when they were already on a dead sprint to the puck.

My only qualm isn't even really with the sliders, it's just the fact that I can't seem to get a goalie with +.900 save %. Fleury just seems to let in the most ridiculous and soft goal at an inoportune time, no matter what. I limit shots and play fundamental defense, but somehow he'll end up under 90% anyways.

Hopefully, I can turn that around, the one thing I would like to see is the CPU with more shots so I'll have to see how I can adjust them to produce that without affecting goal totals.

First, Lord of the things, I used your sliders last year with NHL 10 and loved them. I again am loving your NHL 11 superstar sliders. In my mind you make the most accurate and sim style sliders out there so thank you.

I have a quick question I thought you could maybe help me with. I just downloaded the latest rosters online for NHL 11. I saved them both online and then saved them off line in my NHL. The rosters are great for exhibition play, lines changed everything. So now I am looking to start my Be a GM mode and I select to start at preseason and use my current rosters. However, when I go into my be a gm to check my lines everything has changed and they are not the same rosters that I use in exhibition play.

Do you have any idea how I can fix this? I would love to start my Be a gm mode.
