I really haven't looked forward to a hockey game in years (though I did like 06),but I can't wait to play this game.

NHL 07 was also featured on Gamespot's live show yesterday and I came away really impressed, ths is definitely a new build than the one we have been seeing the other media from before. In the gamespot video the thing that made me happiest was when an ai defensive dman was pressured he dumped the puck down the boards. They also talked about how the players will set up in correct positioning in the offensive zone and you can cycle the puck accordingly. I really wasn't expecting the gameplay to look as good as it's starting to. I can't wait to give it a go.

Geez, I am actually counting the days until the demo! I have been waiting for a decent hockey game since NHL 93 on the Genesis. Lord help me when this baby comes out.

I started playing the EA hockey on teh C-64 ---game called USA versus RUSSIA. It was pretty darn good....but when teh SEGA GENESIS came to town...I remember an add (i think in gamepro) where it show NHL COMING SOON.

No player names, but REAL logos and teams. WOW. All I can say is that that Winnipeg Boy was EXCITED.

That being said, there have been ups and downs and lower downs, small ups, and more downs, but ups recently in teh EA hockey series. I pick up the game every year....as most addicts do.....but lacked the EXCITEMENT factor.

This year, for the 360....I am as pumped as I was when I first saw teh article in 91. I really hope EA lives up to teh hype, but is the gameplay videos, images, and management are what they are showing....OMG!!!

That "two sweet goals" video was horrid.

The first goal was terrible. What was that goalie doing? I really hope this is on the most basic level or something - because I thought the goalies were going to be greatly improved.

The second goal - why did the goalie push the puck out to two players on the opposite team? And why did the puck seem to get sucked into the net when the goalie was getting up. There's no way his pack kicked the puck that hard into the net just getting up.

I'm looking forward to this game - but that was one of the poorest videos I've seen...

I'm so excited about this game I love the way the goalies move..but I'm nervous..my xbox 360 went in since it died idk fan or something I'd..but I'm afraid they will send me back a bad xbox 360..should I be nervous

The game is on a basic, easy level with default sliders.
Also, I didn't think that deflection goal was that bad. I'll have to watch it again but didn't the goalie come out to play the angle and then the shot went wide, hit a player in front and in?
And on the 2nd goal the goalie pushed it out because he was being controlled by the user and he made the goalie do it.
