NHL 2010 Wish List

in my opinion, having all future patches (rosters or game improvements) can be incorporated with your existing Dynasty. this way you'll not have to start all over everytime there is an update. i think this is a must for future sports franchise.

at i want in NHL 2010 is for superstar mode not being impossible to score goals on, i dont kno if its me or if its jus too hard, i also want the dangerous players like Crosby, Malkin, nd Ovechkin nd more to actually feel dangerous, like in 09, if they have a 2 on 1, u dont feel too worried, i wanna feel worried in 2 on 1, nd i wanna actually score goals from the powerplay, these setups suck, nd make traffic in front of the net a stratgedy, thats another thing, we shud have like 5 stratgedies for offense, PP, defense, nd PK to choose from its more realistic nd some of us like traffic in front, nd stop making the goalies go down if the puck is too close to them, nd make a better crowd, these people never sit down nd where is the goal song for the rangers? how bout the penguins they need goal horns nd make the playoffs feel like the playoffs, make the pens fans wear white, make the ranegrs fans go crazy, those r jus examples of ways to improve the playoffs

They gotta fix up the Dynasty mode. It's easily the sorriest part of the game and it's pretty pathetic compared to most other games.

I'm in a playoff race with the Wings against the Blue Jackets and I can't see who the Blue Jackets are playing or when their games are... because the don't actually play any games! It's like the sim engine just generates random records and stats. Maybe it does sim out the games, but if so, PLEASE SHOW ME!

Scrolling through Free Agents list takes forever. Page Up / Page Down please!

I'd like to be able to see stats or at least box scores of my previous games.

I'd like more Tournament options. Currently I believe you can only choose between either 8 or 16 teams.

Maybe a slider to globally modify a specific player rating.

I will wait for the 360 patch before I complain about anything else

Patches do automatically affect your Dynasty, in fact you can't NOT have them immediately take effect in your Dynasty once you get the patch -- I would like to see there be an option to take it or not.

You are right about Rosters though, I am not sure how feasible it would be to change that -- without knowing too much about it I would think it would be pretty complicated because the Dynasties have trades and player development and you would have to merge the Roster changes into that.

The only thing that could be cool is if some rookie gets called up who isn't in the game, maybe his EA CAP after the update happens could get imported to the correct team in dynasty. Other than that, it would be tough to do.

After Robert Luongo makes a great save, I wanna hear the crowd yell out LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU. The game does it for Giguere when he makes a saves, they yell out "Giggy, Giggy"

YES LUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO or if like a rookie comes in he should get a standing ovation if he's first star or gets his 1st NHL point or goal hats on the ice from hat tricks 2k8 had it um at deadline day control all 30 teams to get the proper trades in dynasty also 2k8 had it i want the opportunity knocks like 2k if theres a death in a players family he should leave the team for a while injuries getting worse or better faster etc optional 1 or 2 way contracts in BAP if i want to stay in the organization i should be able to sign a 2 way contract to clear waivers automatically optional starting points like signing a pro contract with an NHL team but playing in the ECHL instead of AHL and DRAFTING getting pulled into a team then accepting the contract or not.

I think the gameplay, as it exists in NHL 09, is pretty darn good. Especially with the recent patch (for PS3), more penalties being called and such, has created a more realistic and free-flowing experience.

Thus, my suggestion for NHL '10 has more to do with the visual side of things. I'd like to see the presentation beefed up a bit. There's definitely some room for improvement in that area. Cut-scenes could run a bit more smoothly for example, like the pregame scenes, or times when there's a close-up on the players or referees. The gameplay is pretty much perfect in my opinion, especially after the new patch. So I'd prefer to see the development team turn their attention to the game's presentation. Let's make it sexy EA!
