I personally do not have an issue with stick lifters but the annoying thing is when they do it all game long and don't get a single call and you do it once and take a penalty for it!!
whoa!!! didnt know that... link?

I expect NHL10 will be another great hockey game, but what's the incentive for forking out another $100 (that's right $100, I live in Australia where everything is overpriced) when all we are getting is gameplay tweaks and minor upgrades? I know the game will be better this year, but $100 better?
I would prolly think that the passing overhaul and the goalie fixes would warrent it but I'm sure not everyone would think that way. Especially in your case where its alot more money to drop over there in Oz land.

If they've finally added some actual substance -- the ability to edit CPU strategy and aggression ala FIFA is critical -- I'll bite. Otherwise, I'm not interested.
Hey um Baa? don't you rent everything already? heh sorry couldn't resist.

This is from Jobo on the EA Forums:

"8 ) Stick lifts Pt2. For the stick lifted player, does he react quicker to the lift? Or does he still marvel at being pick pocketed and admire his stick tape job for 2 seconds?

"Sticks lifts from behind are less effective because they now turn into hooking if your right behind the player. I can't recall if players slow down from stick lifts but I did address that towards the developers. If I get it my way stick life will have a lot more risk to it from odd positions and the offense player won't slow down."
