Sorry, but no sports game anywhere made by anyone has ever done this. (and probably never will, not for a $60 console game).

There will always be CPU boosts (and/or handicapping human players) in sports games. The human mind will always win out. How long does it take people to find the glitch goals?

The only difference in any games is how the CPU gets boosts. Neither 2k10 or NHL10 are going to play fair (along with any other sports game out there).

A good sports game will let you play and not notice these boosts as badly. A good sports game allows you to win if you play the game well. A poor sports game forces you to recognize the boosts and adjust to them specifically. A bad sports game gives you those "WTF" moments where you want to throw the controller at the TV.

Weaksauce in that you have the option of making it a moot point but perfer to whine and moan about it over and over and over. Hell take a little bit of that effort in bitching and add the goal songs in already.

That is not my strengths. So I need the company to do that for me. So oh well!

That's a good point actually. Chess is a structured game that a computer can actually play. There's a finite number of moves you can make in chess.

With hockey, there's just too many unpredictable things that a human player can do.

I see. I really like playing be a pro mode. I will play that a lot this year.

The AI sort of started some stuff with me. I poked at the goalie after he had it covered and then came in like they usually do but then a little window in the top right corner popped up saying to press 'Y' to fight - similar to the way fighting used to be in the NHL 2004 era.

It'd be great if 2 AI characters occasionally got into stuff though. Also it's great that Guerin came in for the poster above, I've had too many fights as or against guys like Crosby, Zetterberg, Malkin, etc...

Also, I believe I remember Litty mentioning that players can be injured in fights this year to answer your question.

Well said Kerosene.

This is another reason why I like the NHL game as much as I do. At least to me...the cpu advantages aren't as glaringly noticeable to me as with other sports games. I should note that I normally play on All-Star level. I've never really felt flat out cheated on that game level.

As you alluded to Kerosene....nothing is more frustrating, or makes me lose interest in a sports game faster than knowing your obviously being cheated.
