Yeah, because certainly the new control scheme is far less organic than mashing buttons ever was.

You seem like a smart guy...but the more you make these extreme statements, the less people will lend credibility to anything you say.

Re: Collision Detection Improvements

It sounds like it will be ogranic, which is great! I am really pumped for this game. It is also sounds like the AI will be tough too. There will be a lot of dumps and chasing in this years game me think!

Way to continue to prove my point that all you do is attack EA on a regular basis.

Woah hey now I didn't want this to become another bash EA thread... I just think the goalies could use maybe some tweaking in regards to some of the animations... anybody see the one yet where the goalie slides his butt around in the crease like a dog?

Re: Collision Detection Improvements

its funny, but i still think hitz pro had the best goalies ever made in a hockey game.
Its probably because they had about 8 different sliders for goalies alone in that game.

i just hope EA is considering adding the additional goalie sliders that were in hitz pro, seeing how the physics engine does not apply to goalies this year.

Also, there has to be some goalie seperation. As of now, all the goalies play the same and make the same saves. I wanna see some timmy thomas cartwheels out there.

I understand your point but you may wish to use another comparison to support it...especially when you consider there used to be customizable controls in the series back in 2004 and now there are only 3 hard-coded templates.

It wont turn into a bash thread so long as anti-aBiNeR fans thoroughly read into my posts. There are other elements (outside of goalie collision detection issues) that I'm referring to with regards to my "organic" comment. It's hard for some people to face it but they do exist.

Re: Collision Detection Improvements

It sounds like they really work on goalies. I wonder if that means they got a goalie to be their poster boy?
