If I really had to pick a player from my team(I never change my team canucks 4ever <3) I would probaly take Luongo. Or any other Canuck for that matter

Seriously, all you really need is Nick Lidstrom. Besides being a consumate ice general and a really sweet guy, he will work extra hours on the ice with the rookies and young players in order to get them ready. Add Mike Modano if you want another true pro that, while he may only have a year left, will be a great teacher for your young player (it is really too bad you can not turn your retired greats into coaches. How sweet will that be when they put it in?).

I have played some with that T. Hall guy in the demo HUT. He has definitely worked his way into a 3rd line spot for me when the game comes out.

P.S.- Pearly, Owen Nolan is a great guy to have for sure. Fan Favorite and willing to help the young guys. He is a Stallion.

I don't have one anymore, but I used to snag Pat LaFontaine back in the day for every team I used.

I always pick up Matthew Lombardi. Great speed, love him on the second or third line. In NHL 08 I had him leading the league in points 2 seasons in a row somehow!

I always try to get Rick Nash in my franchise. He's my favorite player so it's a no-brainer for me. John Madden always ends up on my team somehow too.

I'm not really partial to any player, but I'm sure I will be that way with Ennis once he comes along.

I played a game as the Sabres last night and he was awesome for me. Definitely going to try to get him whenever I start my BAGM.

I always used to get Chris Drury because he's so dominant in the face-off circle

Even if I had a better center, I'd always put Drury on the first line and the #1 PP line because I win 65-70% of face-offs w/ him... winning offensive zone face-offs and getting the puck on your best players sticks all those extra times really makes a difference imo
