Anyone else not getting a good variety of penalties?

It seems that no matter what tuner set i've used this year the EA penalties of choice are tripping and elbowing with a little slashing and interference mixed in, but not very often. Heck I have yet to even get into a fight. My poke check is only at 2 and i'm not mashing any buttons to cause all the trip and elbows, just would like to see it mixed up a little. Oh, I am playing on All Star with penalties maxed, but still no variety. Anyone got a sugestion to fix this?

idk i mean i see interference and slashing called a decent bit. but yea tripping and elbowing are the most common. idk, i find the mix ok.

but actually if i think about it, i don't see too much tripping except for when i make a poor decision to poke check from a place i shouldn't.

I have yet to see a hooking call or roughing.

Most of them have been slashing(missing a stick lift), tripping(missing a poke check), or interference. Then the obvious plethora of elbowing calls. Once in a while the game will change up a slashing to a 2 or 4 minute high-sticking.

I have seen charging, boarding, checking from behind. But those are pretty rare calls. Like once every 10 games or so.

I remember they USED to have a button for hooking a guy, when he got 1/2 a step you could hook in to try and slow him down.

I received a cross-checking minor last game for roughing a guy to his knees in front of the net.

I get boarding calls ALL the time...And hitting from behind.

The latest tuner (1.03) seemed to have effected penalties for me. I have dropped back to 1.02 and my penalties seem to be happening more realistically now. Not sure what the problem is there.

This is for offline play modes.

I can go games without seeing any penalties, either against me, my cpu teammates, or cpu opponents (Be-a-Pro on PS3), no matter the tuner set I use.
