Team Strategies (CPU Adjustments)

I was messing around with the Playoff Mode today, controlled all 16 teams etc.

I then went in and changed all the team strategies to basically match what I have set in our 2K10 rosters.

I also then changed the CPU Strategy Change Slider to 0.

The game played a lot better for whatever reason. With that said, I was up 1-0 with a min left, the Canucks had all kinds of pressure on me. They didn't pull the goalie.

I remember someone stating that when that's at 0 they won't pull the goalie. Can't find that thread. So does anybody know if they will pull the goalie if that slider is set to say just 1?

Heck, the game in general played better. Maybe I'll just leave it there and deal with that small issue.

Has anybody else played a season like this controlling all teams and having their strats set to how they play?

cpu strategy adjustment: 0 is for one timers all they do and 1 is kinda realistic more realistic then 3-4 on that they will pull the goalie 2-3 times then 1

Re: Team Strategies (CPU Adjustments)

what am saying is : 1 they only pull the goalie once compared to: 2-3-4 <--
will pull the goalie 2-3 times if your winning in the at the end of the third or dying seconds and in Goalie Mode when its set to 0 they will do one timers in the slot for goalies i suggest : 3 and lower 0-1-2 is the one timer range
compared to 3-4 will likey shoot more at the goalie instead of doing one timers

and for players when its : 0 -2 its way too easy but with zero it turns in to a one timer franzy and 3 is best for players and if want it harder put at 4

cause i study what they do everyday am person thats got too much time on his hands =O

Re: Team Strategies (CPU Adjustments)

wow, ummmm yeah.. anyway, anybody other than the above remember that slider or strat thread that talked about this?

i was posting from my iphone earlier and searching was a bit of a pain.

i will look again, but i know someone stated that with the CPU Strategy Adjustment at 0 and or 1 the CPU never pulls the goalie, as my game pointed out earlier with it at 0.

but if i move it higher than 0, the CPU wont play the style i have them set up for. i know for a fact the Canucks played the way i had them set, bc the game prior when i didnt they played totally different.

Well if you could post like a normal person, maybe people would understand what you're trying to say. Just a suggestion.
