Could careless about arena shots. The game is played from an overhead view, so all you see is the ice. I'd rather see screenshots of players in action.... blocking shots, shooting, goalie saves. This tells me nothing about the game.

Many many many people have been asking for years for improved atmosphere and more realistic arenas rather than just the 1 arena with different center ice lettering.

I just hope EA was able to retain the naming rights to all the actual arena names. I'd hate to have to go back to TD Garden being labeled as Boston Arena ever again /shudder

I think most of us feel the same, but these shots do look impressive. Still, the hardcore fans will wait for the actual gameplay improvements before deciding to plunk down money. We have been fooled far too many times by EA and its hype machine. You can put lipstick on a pig...

It's still early. I'm not worrying too much about all of that for now. Honestly, if EA can up the physics, improve the gameplay (the way goals are scored, how hitting affects players, the ability to actually play defense without just flailing a stick around on the ice and hoping they skate into it..., and up the graphics a bit, that will be enough to give me hope.

I realize they may have their hands a bit tied on their first Next-Gen release. They're still working out all of the kinks, and they're going to have to also work simultaneously on a PS3/Xbox 360 version to release as well. I'm partially looking to buy NHL15 with the hopes of seeing the foundation for NHL16 to be mind blowingly good.

I want to see a screen shot of after a goal celebration personally. But the marketing dept is doing a good job for increasing the hype level little info by little info.

Sooooo...... is this coming out between now and August?
It may be news to you, but Summer lasts from around June 21st to September 21st and the game comes out September 9th. If you're interested, Fall runs Sept. 21-Dec. 21, Winter Dec.-Mar. and Spring is Mar.-Jun. Helpful things to know in life.

The screens look fantastic. As a Rangers fan, that screen makes it 10x more appealing to play a GM as the Rangers. There's a TON I still want out of this game, but for starters (since I'm still playing NHL 14 right now) if the new arenas were DLC for NHL14, that alone would increase my excitement and enjoyment about playing it, so this can only be viewed as a very good step.
