Any news on an NHL 15 demo?

I understand EA"s easy access goal and I would not mind it if you can play the whole thing (all modes etc) for 5 days while demo is just the Kings vs Rangers in a 5 min game. What I would like to see is the gameplay, player and team differentiation, the improvement or lack of it.

Good that I can rent this game before deciding to purchase....because I am not going to waste my money just for "arenas" and media presentation.......for me NHL game is all about gameplay, player and team differences and all others are secondary.

Very realistic possibility. There have been many post-release demos for games in other genre's, so I don't think it's that far fetched at all.

Probably no news about the release at Gamescom

Usually the demo comes out just before the actual game is released....at least that is what I remember. I suspect we will see it out in about 3 weeks or so.

It's come out the week before Madden the past few years. That would make it next week, but I think they also usually hype it up by now, so who knows. Hopefully we'll get some info to wake up to from Gamescom.

Yup have been quietly reading about this year's game, but I will pass now also.
I certainly won't even consider buying ANY EA sports game without playing a demo first. Then after the demo if it's still iffy, I wait another good 2 months after release and use that time to read up on reviews, then and only then will I possibly pull the trigger.
The have absolutely zero trust in any EA sports game!!!
But now the decision is already made. Wish you all the best this year tho!!
