"Speaking of goals being scored, the puck now flies in and out of the net in awesome fashion, which I know will make a lot of people happy

This has been a problem ever since. Its like super easy to enter the zones....I just dump the puck just for the sake of dumping it.....because if not, i will not see this because of lack of pressure in the NZ.

Yep.

I was playing NHL a decade ago before I started watching games. The thing that shocked me about real NHL was the amount of play in the NZ and how ioften teams dumped and chased.

While I agree that the videos have not shown us doc and his excited 'scores', it still sounds more intense than some of you are stating. Gary Thorne in the previous years always had his excited call under a minute so I am assuming we will hear the the cracking voice by doc when the play permits.

Not impressed, this looks ALOT like 14 re skinned. The defensive awareness is atrocious, they still have no idea how to set the priorities for defensemen off the rush. I understand this was 2 humans playing, but you can see the gaffs in the one that the human is not controlling. In the past difficulty level has never effected this. This game will be a bust offline in the long term.

Looks great. I think some work has been done on the way the players transition their skating, or maybe it's just the new player models. The dekes looks improved and believable.

I've never been a big commentary guy, they sounded fine. I liked it when Ferraro interjected. I suspect the speed and chaotic context of hockey makes it a lot harder to program smooth believable commentary compared to the linearity of football, or the simplicity of basketball.

Gameplay has me optimistic. It looks like tweaked NHL 14, which is a good thing, no need to throw the baby out with the bath water.

Seeing the guys trip over each other was pretty cool.

I didn't really notice the new puck physics, but i wasn't really watching either

There's not a lot of it because the people playing decided to hit everything, but the chop on the Washington goal was nice because it didn't go through the player like in previous years. The dump in didn't bounce over the boards. It's hard to tell puck physics when the guys playing don't have a poke check button.

If this is the base they are working off of for the remainder of next gen we are all in for a treat.

Presentation looks insane!

My only gripe is the 2 man celebrations... Wish we got the group hug this year.
