Boston Bruins (ME) @ Carolina Hurricanes (CPU) * Gane played using sliders in post #1 of the thread
The game was evenly played and scoreless after one period with Boston holding a 9-8 advantage in shots. The Bruins opened the scoring at 4:16 of the 2nd period on the PP when Charlie McAvoy knocked down a clearing attempt and fed Brad Marchand who walked off the side boards and snapped a wrist shot past Mrazek to give Boston the 1-0 lead. The Hurricanes would answer midway through the period when Rask stopped a shot by Martinook but Brock McGinn was there to collect the rebound and stuff it home to even the score at 1-1. Both Mrazek and Rask made huge stops late in the 2nd period to keep the game tied 1-1 after 40 minutes of play with the Hurricanes out-shooting the Bruins 20-18. The score remained tied 1-1 into the late stages of the 3rd period as both teams had chances but the goalies were playing terrific. The Bruins would go on the powerplay with 3:16 when Noel Acciari drew a hooking call on Brett Pesce. Carolina would kill off the penalty to Pesche and the would get a chance of their own on the PP when Danton Heinen was called for tripping with 1:08 remaining. Carolina would set up in the Bruins end in the final minute trying to get the game winner on the man advantage and Rask came up with a huge save on a point blank chance by Staal with under 30 seconds to play. The game was in the closing seconds when Patrice Bergeron won a battle along the wall and made a perfect pass through a seam to a streaking Brad Marchand to spring him for a breakaway and Marchand would snap the puck past Mrazek for a beautiful shorthanded goal to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead with 11 seconds to play as the Bruins win a thriller 2-1
NOTES
* The Bruins win 2-1 on a shorty from Marchand with 0:11 remaining
* The Sliders are playing great, things just feel good at the moment
* Still need to tone down the penalties (especially tripping) a bit
Boston Bruins (ME) @ Minnesota Wild (CPU) * Game played using sliders in post #1 of the thread
NOTES
* Hard fought & physical game, both teams generated good chances
* Devan Dubnyk was outstanding in the Minnesota net, I couldn't beat him
* The Bruins had some defensive breakdown in the 2nd period and Minnesota took advantage
* Sliders are feeling pretty good and producing good, realistic hockey games
Comments- felt slow at 1 but will get used to after a few games. NJ passing accuracy 92%...Edm 71% so I think CPU accuracy should be lowered, but only one game so will see how that goes

I've playing at 4 speed and 12 minutes and have been getting realistic results. Love playing at 4 as it better mimics the real NHL. Thought it would result in significantly more shots but exact numbers because the defensive AI is so much better this year. I even played at 15 minutes and kept AI to under 30 shots for the game. I also moved up to AS.
Have you been seeing a lot of shots miss the net? I’ve been reading that if you have attentive affects above 8 then you should keep shooting accuracy at 50? Just wondering what your opinion is on this
