Realistic Sliders

Watching the NHL playoffs and it’s a very exciting time for hockey. That being said. I’ve been scouring the os forums, Reddit, and even YouTube to try and come across a slider set that feels like watching a game of hockey on tv, cycling, forechecking, goal variety, stars standing out, proper game speed, proper passing sliders. And I just can’t find a set that accomplishes all that and it feels to me that not as many people are making sliders for 22 as they did for 21. If anyone has any suggestions or sets of their own. Feel free to let me know or post them here. Thanks!

Check out ThaLiveKing. Great rosters BUILT to look real and play good, but even he knows, admittedly, that to get the right feel some stats suffer. I used his exclusively and they were fine until updates happened to the game. They're ok now but they used to work better which clearly means EA messed with the game.

His seem to feel really nice, he plays on pro and if only EA could make the AI not play brain dead on pro it would be better

Re: Realistic Sliders

Also a question directed at anyone. Passing and shooting, I see a lot of slider threads with manual passing off, I tried this setting and it was almost impossible to be creative with the puck or to control your passes, is there something im missing or a control that I need to use for auto passing? Also for shooting, do you guys use auto aim or manual and why?

I use shoot and pass on manual only , so it feels like I'm actually playing and my skill matters . I keep them on near default on allstar.

Re: Realistic Sliders

You can give my sliders a go if you want 😀

I always do my sliders with REAL hockey and GAMEPLAY as much as possible… Will have a roster set available pretty soon to FIX the zombies DMEN on the offensive side of things… There's a thread by me on the subject on the main forum…

Oh, and try to play them by my rules for a couple of games, you'll have a blast I’m sure 😀

Re: Realistic Sliders

I have a set for you Clorpious,I have been working on for some time. I’ve been really frustrated in the past about real game speed being incorporated into play. I’ve found a way to do it though. I did some research and found that the fastest hockey players can skate 10 yards a sec or 4 seconds flat in a 40 yard dash. Then I looked up info on Hockey rink dimensions and found they are 200 ft long. Then I converted that to yards. Which came to roughly 67 yards. That means the fastest hockey players can skate from one end to the other in 6.7 seconds flat!
So I grabbed Conner McDavid I went into free skate and loaded my sliders and timed him skating from one end to the other and adjusted my sliders till he made the skate in 6.7. I then noticed some whacky running man animation that made me lower acceleration to wipe it out.I then retested with new acceleration number and came out with final legit nhl speed incorporated into the game!! If you want I can share my slider set or you could just check them out when I start a thread soon.
