Team status in franchise

How can you change the status? I don’t want to be a seller. Keeps sending me trades I don’t want. Looking to be conservative buyer. But can’t see where to change it. Thanks

I think it's automated, and we have no control over that, I know it's sad right, same I wanna be that conservative-based trader and seller too, but we have no control over that, plus I like to protect my star's from other teams going after him and spamming trades for him, once in while I do get a good player for him, but there is also, trade values you can change too, like what team needs or team wants, I forgot where that is now in the franchise, but there is way to change values of what team needs, somewhere in trades thing.

Thanks so much for the replies haha. I really like I said don’t follow hockey anymore and play mainly sports titles but needed a change of pace from 2k. Having a blast with this title. The amount of hate the game gets is wild to me after playing it.

You can change what's your looking to trade or get in the Trading Block. Should help with not getting trade requests you don't want.

AS the season draws closer to the trade deadline, it will as you to change your status. it would be helpful if this could be changes every month but as far as I have seen, its just prior to the TDL.
