I don't know as I played PS4 demo. But full game looks better than PS4 demo.

One thing I wish they would do is make a dynamic camera that goes out a tad further on a breakout or when pressuring in the offensive zone so you can see the points. The dynamic medium camera is too close and you can't see your point men in the offensive zone, the high camera is TOO far away and the low camera is really too close.

All these camera options and I'm back to "classic".

-I played all styles of defense to try and counter this and gave up goals on each of the staggered, high point, and collapsing defense settings.

-On staggered the CPU had a 2 on 3 while entering the zone that became a 3 on 3. I controlled the center high, which was Malkin, and contained the puck near the blue line. Scuderi had the far guy down low and Letang had the next guy coming over the line that was making a b-line towards the short side of the net. I continued to contain with Malkin when all of the sudden Letang leaves his man and skates up towards the point almost as if he wants to cover my guy that I have a good containing gap on. This leaves the main in front wide open, my guy sauces a pass past me and around the out of position Letang for an easy same side goal against Fleury. WTF!?

-Your AI is brutal, EA!

-I cannot get my CPU teammates to forecheck half of the time, but on the PK they will. Including an offensive zone face-off on the PK where Crosby tied the guy up (why he is killing penalties is beyond me) and Dupuis gave up his defensive positioning by going under the dot to the same side corner as they gained possession and subsequently had an easy outlet pass on the PP attack as a result of Dupuis' action.

-I noticed more ice degradation with the longer periods. Nice touch.
Yeah...if someone knows the correct sliders to get my D-men to play proper defense, game would be that much more enjoyable. There are lots of problems with game (missing features, stats, user friendly menus, Defense line match ups, away lines first, etc) but the game is otherwise significantly better looking and feeling than 14. But they have got to fix AI D-men. They just stand around in the slot and often get skated around by AI forwards. Perhaps there is slider fix or it needs patch fast.

Ice degradation is very nice. Commentary is not bad especially in GM mode.

The same guy who posted the no draft video has also done a couple of other videos with BeAGM content.

Although I think Drafting will be patched in, it is a pain in the arse it is out to begin with, that really riled me earlier.

But after watching this guys videos, holy smokes, once they DO get this right, it will be something else.

Cosmetically, the menus are very nice, they may take some getting used to but they will become second nature very quickly to most, the trading screen for example has the main trading block picks and players built on to it rather than it being a separate screen so if you are looking for someone who wants to give up a certain pick, you can just scroll through the teams on the main trading screen.

In certain areas you only have to pull the right trigger and a sliding window appears with that players stats rather than it taking you to a separate screen.

The scouting looks much more intuitive, you set how much time in a season as a percentage your scouts look in a certain area.

After the draft was simulated the guys showed a 7th rounder with high potential and a 72 OVR rating who was a step better than his earlier simulated picks, it shows that there will be good players late into the draft and it is a reason in and of itself to give scouting some time and thought, rather than just looking at whom everyone else picked up on forums and loading up on 1st-3rd round picks.

However, that is dependant on them fixing the draft aspect itself, who knows if that was an intentional omission or just a plum dumb oversight.

RufNex Ice Hockey is the YouTube channel name, go check him out and give him a sub and a like I guess for getting some videos out quickly. I am not him as I am on PS4 before you start :-P

DO you notice NZ pressure from your opponent? Not only in play now mode but in BaGM mode?

Yes, this!

What does EA think is important to look at when playing a team sport such as hockey? Cause it sure as heck isn't your teammates or the areas on the ice where you might need to pass to. And why would it be when the game is set up to fly down the ice one on one and make a quick deke and fire a puck on net time after time?

How can you they have no ability for me to see my point men on half of the cameras when I am trying to set up in the zone? That is 2/5ths of my team that I cannot see on only 1/3 of the ice.
