Like most EA games the rosters that ship with the game are both full of errors (guys having the wrong equipment) and overly inflated. We edit rosters to make the game play more like an actual game of hockey. It makes the truly great player standout from the checking lines.

Can someone clarify if we could use edited roster files in BAGM before? My memory is terrible.

I am disappointed as this was going to be the first year I tried out the revamped rosters stuff as it is splendid work and a massive undertaking, and that is just me looking from the outside.

The EA rosters and equipment issues haven't hampered my gameplay experience previously though, I can only think the edits that people want to make would ENHANCE a product I already enjoy so it isn't that big of a deal. I just hope they put this damn draft patch in place quickly.

Eh, overly inflated? Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh come on.

Guess that sucks for you guys though. The only edited rosters I've ever used were for NCAA, where you really need them for player names etc.

yeah...EA's rating are okay if you are not a HARDCORE hockey fan. But for people like me who live and breathe hockey...they are pretty terrible. All you have to do is play NHL 14 without and then with the revamped rosters.....it really does make a difference.

I really don't edit equipment or anything else , but I have to have the right jersey numbers.
