Rammer EA NHL Q&A podcast Interview great info !

I havent seen it here or in the EA NHL section after a search so I linked as it answered many questions I didnt know with the whys and reasoning on how the game was release .

He seems like a honest stand up guy , very logical in his reasoning and a vision for the future of the series to take it to a new level .

I know its his job to promote this game but i feel like im playing a different game then hes talking about. I just feel like everything hes saying is so exaggerated its ridiculous. This podcast actually made me more pessimistic about the future. The guy doing the interview just talks about how great everything is except the modes and rammer is just giving the same spiel. I honestly think the gameplay and presentation thats being pushed so hard and being greatly exaggerated is not even close to as big of a jump as theyre claiming. Seems like moving forward the modes will be a huge focus, leaving us with this shell of a game.

He says he has enough time to put out the game he wanted to put out. So does he or does he not? Or does he not want to give game modes?

I have to agree with you, after listening to that podacast I am concerned. I know Rammer talked about having laid the foundation to build on, but the fact that he says you won't notice any similarities (to NHL 14) in the gameplay due to the puck and 12 man physics is laughable. Sure the puck physics has improved gameplay, as has the player physics...but let's get serious....howbout fixing the CPU AI? I know people have been tinkering with sliders, and some have found a gameplay experience they really enjoy (I am still trying to perfect it)....I feel that there is a TON of work to be done on the gameplay in this series, even with sliders adjusted. Listening to this just did not give me the feeling that the sense of urgency or awareness of this issues is there with Rammer.

Lol, does Rammer even read any fan feedback? This guy just does not get it.
Sounds like it could be a long time before we see any change in this series.

There is nothing new, I understand the point to put modes there are mostly used, but then don't put Be a Pro without sim between shifts in.

Obviously he's blind. I just read in one of the threads here...that BaGM goalie stats are not working...if its true....how could this be??? GLad I did not waste money in buying this game.

You should see his twitter feed, it's like non stop praise from casual fans saying how great the game is lol. Rammer is a basketball guy, they should move him to the Live series and bring in a proper gameplay hockey producer.
