maybe somebody can help me.. I finished as the 6th seed and for some reason I am playing the 2nd seed. The number 7th seed is playing the 1st seed and the 8th seed is playing the 3rd seed. please explain this to me if anybody has any idea of why.

It depends on a number of things but it's actually most likely correct. The NHL changed the way the seeding works last year.

Can you give me an example? All the seedings looked to be different on both conferences.
