Game Mode question?

I havent bought a NHL game since '11 and when I read some reviews of this years version, which havent looked very good, I keep seeing gamers saying that some modes are taken away. What are they talking about?

I only play Be A Player and the Franchise Mode (preferably with Fantasy Draft)

Striped down versions. I don't believe you have the option to have a fantasy draft either.

There is no fantasy draft option in Be A GM.

Be A Pro is pretty much unplayable right now without the ability to sim ahead to your next shift.

Why would you need to sim ahead when you can call yourself to get in game?

If you cant sim to next shift then "Be A Player" is not worth playing. No fun if the player is playing 50 minutes a game.

I really dont get EA..Im positive they do not have any real sports fans or any good testers on staff. Every tester must be into shooter games or something because Madden and NHL always seem to have obvious issues that make the game frustrating.
