NHL 16 EASHL Beta Impressions

Thread for sharing your beta impressions of the EASHL.

If you want it on Xbox One now, please use OS's tips:

1. Go to the Friends tab
2. Then click the Friends Online tile
3. Go down to Find Someone
4. Enter rammer34 as the gamertag
5. Scroll over to the right, to see the Top Games (Last 30 Days)
6. Highlight NHL 16 EASHL Beta and hit the A button
7. Highlight View in Store and hit the A button

Has anyone figured out a way to SEND an invitation in EASHL from your Club? You can create a Club and make it private, but is there a way for you to invite members from your "Friends" list?

Also, the color wheel that controls your desired equipment color is incredibly cumbersome. It reminds me of the NBA 2K menu from a few years ago. That's not a good thing.

People already have over 100 points in less than 25 games played for Xbox. Averages are 5.1 and like 5.7 ppg.

That screams that nothing has been done to change the ways to score goals. It's so easy to toe drag defenders and cheese shot again. And now that we all start out as fully upgraded players their is no having to really work up to get those cheesy skills.

That and passing in the offensive zone is pretty awful. And pucks still hit the side boards on long passes and more often than not roll on end.

Does it have anything to do with terrible user goalies?

Yeah seems pretty clear that cheese goals aren't fixed judging by some of the point totals by some ppl

I'd rather use the beta to get my goalie practice in anyway. Yes, it is nice to win, but all this is going to be lost once the beta is over. Now is the time to get the rust off.

Everybody wants to be Datsyuk w the puck as goalies. It's annoying.
