Can you edit existing player names? I'd like to create a classic season.

No, not names. You can edit type/position/contract info/height/wgt. And obviously gear, beard, and attributes.

Does anyone know why? Is it a licensing issue with the NHL? Or an EA issue? It can be done in Madden and NbA 2k but not MLB or NHL? I've never been able to get an answer

Did EA really need to remove the Jersey Tuck option in its Edit players. I know the NHL tried to enforce in 2013, but it was largely ignored.
Its a little thing, but.....gosh...
