How to do Online Couch Co-op?

This might be a silly question but I can't seem to find how to get this mode. What do I have to do to get my friends and I who are sharing a screen online?

You must login your second controller to your PS4, then in online versus team select hold Options on the controller.

Found on some other forum .. so here it is..

If you're playing on PS4, your friends need to sign on to PSN. Get them to create accounts (can't do it as a guest) and then in the side select screen, have them both press the Options button on their controllers, should be all set.

Well how about One? We tried "Add Guest" (with the other controller) but got an error message... something like "this user cannot be added as guest" don't remember exactly.

Is there something wrong with controller settings? Both controllers are synced (can operate with menus etc.), there's only one active profile (Gold) signed in... what could be wrong?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Edit: Nevermind! It seems there has to been something wrong on EA's(?) side... now we tried it and it worked like it was meant to be.
