**Helpful Tips** For Be A GM Sim'ers

I sim the majority of the season, aside from the odd playoff game. Anyone have any tips for team construction because I'm struggling right now with 16.

I feel like I construct a balanced, dominant team going into October but can't seem to win a game to save my life, let alone win a series in the playoffs. My team usually ends up a few games below .500 at seasons end.

Is there secret to the player compilation or line compilation in this game, because good players always seem to perform horribly.

Anyone else experience this?

Try keeping a good mixture of player types on each of your lines. The sim engine seems to balance the scoring a bit too much and goalie stats are usually over inflated. I was considering lowering the goalie attributes and raising some of the sniper attributes before starting my official GM

I often notice games where my team gets blown out 7-1 even with a solid top 4, top 6, and above average goaltending. Not sure what's happening there at all.
