Fatigue Effect & Recovery

Curious what peoples thoughts are on Fatigue Effect & Recovery

It seems like sometimes I can be 8 to 10 minutes into a game and all my lines are pretty low even if I execute good quick changes

Are we sure that Fatigue Recovery at 5 or 6 means they recover faster? Is there the possibility it;s reversed and going with 1 or 2 means they recover quicker?

How does fatigue effect play in - would effect at 2 and Recovery at 6 mean players should be fresher and the effect at 5 w/ Recovery at 2 would lead to players being exhausted?

Re: Fatigue Effect & Recovery

I was just thinking about this and I actually really like how fatigue and recovery are executed in this years game, they definitely tweaked some things in this area.

Towards the later part of the period, my lines can become fatigued (yellow) and I don't remember that in last years game. The AI has the same fatigue as well.

I've never really used timeouts much in previous versions, but I find myself using it just about every game in spots to get my lines fresh again when late in a game.

Re: Fatigue Effect & Recovery

The last tuner messed with this. I'd been playing with effect & recovery at 3eff/4rec all year and it was suddenly way too harsh; players were about to die by third period. Changed it to 2/4 for my last couple games and it was good. (10 minute periods.)

Re: Fatigue Effect & Recovery

I use fatigue effect at 5 for both teams but recovery at 3 CPU and 4 Human. I feel I get shorter realistic shifts that way out of the CPU but the recovery is good in that as the period progresses the players don't recover as quick. I also like that if a team gets caught on a long shift your more likely to give up a goal or take a penalty. That said like all sliders I think what your others are set too have a say in how these two sliders work.
