I suppose I can try this out myself, but just curious...

In season mode, obviously the game uses the current schedule for this season.

However, if i were to rearrange the order of the teams in the division prior to the season, would that adjust each team's schedule?

Im currently in the middle of the playoffs of my first season. Will check when I'm finished this year.

Just tried this...

and yes, it works!

I tested with the hawks. Their 1st three games this year were:
vs. NYR, @NYI and vs. NYI

I swapped the Rangers and Islanders in the divisional order and now their 1st three games are:
vs. NYI, @NYR and vs. NYR

I just tried this to, but couldn't figure out how to swap the order. Can anyone help?

It keeps going back to alphabetical order automatically.

Never mind..I got it to work.

I went one by one each division, swapping out the NHL teams and putting random international teams as placeholders.

Once I had all 7 or 8 placeholders, I randomly put the NHL teams back in different than slots.

Although, once all NHL teams are back, it rearranges back to alphabetical order, looks like it did the trick. Each team has a much different sked than their last season. Pretty neat, if u like season mode.
