No, no, no ! God dammit EA, these aren't the standards you should be aiming for. I don't know about FIFA, but Madden's menu are only slightly faster than NHL 16...but still way under what I would consider "smooth".

If this is what I should expect, I guess you shouldn't expect me to buy the game this year.

No, not at all! I'm more confused than anything at this point, but it's a plague across all EA Sports titles. Playing other games with snappy and responsive menu systems lately like Overwatch, Doom, Dark Souls 3, even The Show really make it seem even worse when you go back.
