Questions regarding Franchise Mode / NHL 17
Straight to the point.
1. How's the player development?
I know there's still the same potential system, but does the development finally depend on their performance or is it still random boosts depending on what potential EA gave them? For example last year I had Nick Bjugstad stuck at 87 for every season, regardless of record breaking performances.
2. Are there still some areas that never develop?
For example in NHL 16 the faceoff rating never developed, even for the likes of McDavid who received a huge boost in overall, but not the faceoff. It was knowingly bugged and never fixed. Is there anything like this in NHL 17?
3. How are the new stuff?
So there's quite a few new things to do in Franchise Mode, do you feel like they're completely useless and rather hurt the gameplay or are they fun addition?
4. How's the crowd atmosphere in bigger games?
Do bigger games like Stanley Cup final still feel the same as regular season games or are there some bigger noises and commentators involved etc.?
