The NHL18 sliders wishlist

Hey guys,

I think many of us would agree that sliders in NHL 17 is an essential and great addition to the series. For me personally its the biggest and the most important feature in recent years.

But what next? What new sliders would you like to see in NHL 18? What would help you tune the best hockey sim?

My major list at the moment would probably look like this:

CPU poke check frequency
CPU stick lift frequency
CPU body check frequency

CPU defender slap shot frequency
CPU defender wrist shot frequency
CPU forward slap shot frequency
CPU forward wrist shot frequency

CPU dumping in offensive/neutral/defensive zone
CPU pass frequency
CPU offensive/neutral/defensive pressure

I'd like what I thought were some of the NHL 17 sliders. I thought goalie screen persistence would mean you can adjust how often/how much your team or the CPU screens the goalie. Would have been a huge help in BAP, considering my teammates just stand in the vicinity of the net, but don't actually screen the goalie much, and don't stay far enough away to open up space.

puck friction - a lot of time soft passes will just glide on for an icing and the puck doesn't lose speed in a fast enough manner for me

expand the attribute effects slider into their respective categories, or make 2 new ones for offensive awareness and defensive awareness since those 2 attributes effect game play much than others

Goalie recovery slider - how quick a goalie recovers from rebounds/blocked shots/etc

split the fatigue slider up between forwards and defensemen, or make their fatigue rates different since d-men play longer shifts/ more minutes than most forwards.

Add goaltender interference to sliders - make it so that at 100 any contact at all picked up by the game negates a goal so users can customize it

Also please make it so the "build the ai" (what they used to call it) can affect CPU teams.

Also please see if you can get this patched in: Don't let the Strategy adjustment slider dictate when a goalie is pulled. I've found if the slider is lower than 3 the cpu doesn't pull the goalie until there are 30 seconds left. It doesn't matter what zone the puck is in.

-HUMAN goalie puck cover frequency (make it so that if there are opponent's players threating the goalie, the goalie covers a puck automatically and there will be a faceoff) It's ridiculous you are allowed to pass a puck away if there are players. It needs to be so, that you /CPU gets a reward more often for pressuring a goalie to cover a puck.

-CPU diving frequency (for blocking breakaways)
-CPU teammates diving frequency (for blocking breakaways)

i agree about puck cover. i hate that.
maybe they should have a whistle speed slider. where whistle can blow as soon as goalie has puck if you minimize the slider???
