NHL 17 franchise cpu captains going missing

Holy **** is this driving me insane. I have been putting off playing nhl because of this and focused on Madden haha. I seriously hope EA knows about this and is fixing it. Or atleast give us the option to start a season without preseason games as this is causing the whole issue! Players get sent down to ahl then come back as an Alternate. Who else is noticing this? Can't be just us few..

No kidding. The easiest fix for this, and one that has been missing for YEARS, is to just eliminate the roster limit during pre-season. That would make the pre-season actually worth playing. It's stupid to have to keep sending players down and calling them back up again just to get some rookies and AHLers into some game action.

Plus, if players don't need to be sent down, they won't lose their captaincy.

This is such simple logic. It actually is upsetting that the people who actually play the games have next to zero input into how it's made, unless we're asked for cheesy presentation gimmicks.
