NHL 18 Problems and Glitches

I picked NHL17 in a bargin bin for $20...it's not a great game but it sure plays a lot better than what I'm reading here. I think I'll just put my wallet down and wait and see what NHL19 has.

When you edit rookies it sets the draft position on their player card to "undrafted." Unlike in previous years it doesn't seem to take away their rookie status, and you can edit NHL players without it resetting the draft status on their card. They've been battling the legacy bug on this forever.

I think it plays better than 17, plus with the new D skill stick, I could never go back to 17.

Played 2 more games yesterday. Got my sliders to a decent spot and really had competitive games. But I had in one game, 6 instances of that not picking up the puck issue that leads to a whistle. 6 in one game. It is strange.

If you didn't see it from the other post this was the other day. I lower the min pass speed from default, that is when it started happening. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

So currently, if you edit any player they'll end up being considered a rookie when you enter franchise mode, and be on the rookie scoring stat lists, have rookie cutscenes (like the skating alone), and be in contention for the Calder as well.

That's a pretty big one for me.

HUGE FRANCHISE MODE GLITCH- Winning Rookie of the Year Calder TWICE

Ever since the new update, if you are using a custom roster and have edited a first, second or even third year player (i.e. Matthews, Nylander, Domi) the computer automatically thinks they are first year rookies. Discovered this simming to end of maple leafs first year only to discover Auston Matthews had won Rookie of the Year twice in a row. RIDICULOUS. Someone contact EA. HAPPENS EVERY TIME.
