Where is the player separation??
So I've been playing a few games. Then I thought, the way to really test this "player separation" is to have a good team vs bad. In this case, Chicago vs Team Japan.
Thinking I'm going to see a lot of goals, I start the game. And this is on All Star with position lock to RD.
I had to stop at the end of the 2nd because I felt like I was playing a regular NHL team.
Goals: Japan 1 - Chicago 0
Shots: Japan 14 - Chicago 23
TOA: Japan 5:07 - Chicago 5:21
PIM: Japan 2 min - Chicago 8 min
FO: Japan 8 - Chicago 22
The TOA is really bothering because with a team like Japan, they're highest rated player is like 60 OVR. Yet, they kept up with my players skating. Players like Kane coudn't get a breakaway.
Their goalie, rated a 53, was stopping everything with ease! Why am I not seeing the supposed player separation EA touted this year?? This game should have been 10-0 by now. My players should have been out skating Team Japan and running up shots.
Anyone else experience this? Again, this is position lock. Previous years I was easily able to run up goals on Team Japan. This year, not so much.
Thoughts?
