drafting players in franchise mode

so i have done one 25 year franchise mode (32 teams) and i am in year 14 of the second one and I have had 1 player raited as a franchise level player so far come out of the draft. Is this normal at all, it seems i'd say every 5 years at least there should be one IMO

Do you mean you have "selected 1 player rated as Franchise".
Or do you mean you've "seen 1 player rated as Franchise".

Because many times, we will not pay attention to other team's selections. Or we ignore later round picks.

And speaking of later round picks, there was a guy on the EA reddit page that posted a picture of a goalie he drafted near the seventh round (late round basically, I don't remember specific). This goalie was a Franchise goalie.

My meaning is, it could be happening, but perhaps we miss it.
