If they are teasing a story mode I really hope it's not some more scripted BS like the Madden and FIFA story modes have . Customization is key, and EA needs to realize this. Just because 2K has a customizable story mode doesn't mean EA can't make their own attempt with that as well.*

That's from the survey they gave out last year.

The CHEL stuff has me far less excited than I was when I was hoping for when I first saw the trailer. Making an good or even impressive system as suggested by the survey without fixing the basic gameplay is like hanging up a new chandelier in a condemned house.

one thing NHL can do to make me buy this game at launch again like I use to is change default player builds in the EASHL. no player progression is no fun

back when the EASHL first started.. the game was by far the most addicting and best sports game online and nothing even compared. now days other sports have caught up to it like FIFA online and over taken NHL

but they would be wise to maybe bring back attributes and player edit and or player progression. at least make it like FIFA player progression and builds... it would make playing online in the EASHL without your club a fun thing to do to progress your guy again to kill time.

any ways, bring this back and I will buy NHL this year day 1 and I know many others of my friend who do the same.

i'm not sure if this chel thing address some of what i'm talking about or not... if it does then that is a start with bringing NHL back imo

the EASHL should always be the #1 focal point of this game.. not FUT.. not franchise or offline.. the EASHL . there is no better sports gaming experience than playing 6 v 6 online competitively or casual in NHL.. I miss the early days of the EASHL..
