I am noticing defenders are scoring way more own goals than years past. Myself and the A.I. Included. Way to many pucks picked up near the goalie are getting stuck between his legs and the 5 hole by his their own defenders. Not happening enough to be game breaking, but happening way more than it should. Anyone else notice this?

You bet. I play goal and the defensemen are frequently poking the puck in when I have it between my pads. Infuriating

I would guess that I see an own goal, for or against, ever other game, or more.

Yeah, I am noticing about the same frequency. Nothing you can really do to combat it since it's happening off of basic and neccessary defensive actions
