Franchise - auto

I want to play just the games in my franchise and do nothing off the ice. Is this possible and what settings do I need your use ? I don't want to edit lines or deal with trades etc I want the cpu to do this for me.

yup.. when you start the franchise turn everything off before you go into the season

I have almost everything disabled also, except trades and waiver notifications.

Settings > Rules >
Auto Finances = Off
Trade Offer Notifications = No
Waiver Notifications = No
Waivers = Off
Meeting Notifications = Off
Morale Meetings = Off
Auto Scouting = None

Auto Sign Free Agents : I guess you would want to set this to ON since it would require you to do nothing but it will be a gamble who ends up on your team
