Weird. Luckily I haven't run into this.

I did see a few players start the franchise as elite medium and have since changed to Top 6 medium. One in particular was Tyler Bertuzzi of the Red Wings and his potential rating changed about 1/2 way through the first season. I figured it was because he wasn't producing and his potential was adjusted accordingly.

btw iam doing an expansion team but when i go into classic with no expansion team hes elite so i dunno

I deleted him in create a player and created him again and did a franchise mode to see if he is elite and he is elite now..
