EA, NHL & NHLPA Extend Multi-Year Deal For EA Sports NHL Series

It is unfortunate another company does not make a hockey game, but that pretty much goes with NBA, MLB, and NFL at this point. I miss the PS2 days, you always had options to find a game from each sport that suited the style you liked. I think NHL 21 has some positives and definitely a lot of negatives, I am disappointed in it thus far. EA was always the more fun game, better looking game, easier to pick up and play game. I think that is what made it more popular than 2K. 2K was far more realistic and you could certainly create a better sim experience if you adjusted the sliders. Unfortunately that would be a small niche. Most people like to play online and with friends, more so than hardcore sim franchise players, which is very unfortunate.
