The suggestion is basically to make the takedowns more rewarding depending on how fast the defender responds.
1) Pre-denies should result in single under clinch position. (Since the defender denied the takedown perfectly)
2) Getting the early deny on turns should result in a sprawl and have a big stamina cost on the attacker(here's an
edited video on how it should look like).
3) Late denies (scrables) should have a medium cost to the attacker and a LOW cost on the defender for defending late.
PS: The whole idea of this is to have more sprawls. Sprawls are perhaps the most common outcome of a defended takedown in real life whereas in UFC 4 the most common outcome is the single under position. To sprawl you have to
pre-deny while going backwards which is more difficult to do but also a worse position than single under.
