Left side of octagon - clear advantage or placebo?

I feel like the left side has the advantage over the 4ight, because of camera angle. It almost sits on the shoulder of the guy on the left at times. It's way easier to land a body kick on the inside and a straight IMO

Also seems like when you go from the left of the screen to the right after a scramble that the game tends to glitch out and your punches and timing are off.

Am I the only one who experiences this?

I'm definitely more comfortable in the red corner, but I don't think there is any advantage to being on the left.

I don't know anyone who isn't more comfortable playing a fighting game from the left.

Fighting from the left side feels better in general with all fighting games for me, but what i do is just practice playing on the right side constantly so i can get used to it. Just play a few matches in fight now against the AI and fight in the blue corner everytime...eventually you'll get used to it.

Pretty sure it's just placebo effect / fact you are used to being on left side much more often than right side

I do like the fact that in this game you can sometimes start on the right side; and even if you start on the left side, you can end up on the other side of the screen during a scramble/etc

In fight night round 4 (and I think Champion?) --- when you played online, you were 100% always on the left side; both you and your opponent felt as if you were on the left side (which is just an illusion of course)

This wasn't too big a deal til the Vegas Gamestop Tournament lol 7 out of 8 people who lost the coin flip and fought on the right side of the first round, lost --- since there was no way to practice online on the right side to get used to the angles/etc (it's NOT a placebo effect that it changes your whole perception!) --- this was a big deal

Only thing I wish they changed in UFC 2 = If you end up switching sides, I wish your stamina bar / health information would switch sides too lol
