can 4* moves be faster than 5* same moves if yes why

both fighters same stamina
almost same punch speed 83 vs 85
83 p.s. got 1,2 with 5* stiff jab and 5* heavy straight
85 got 4* stiff jab and 4* heavy straight
no fluidity perk

for some reason 4* seemed faster in combos than 5* why?

I always notice input delay for strikes, so I wonder do u just queue ur combos as fast as possible or u re trying react to what s happening around?

It really does feel like some moves are quicker doesn't it? I thought the same thing. The move level has no effect on speed though. Was all in my head. Dev confirmed.
