Re: Most Important Improvement Needed For UFC 3

Tons of good ideas for the next version, especially the idea that a really rocked fighter should be slower and less effective for the rest of the round (on the flip side, the danger of the aggressor gassing so much his stamina is depleted for the following round).

For an easy patch for this version, eliminate the finish the fight sequence completely, allow for high and low strikes, high and low blocks, limit ability to resist clinches and TDs, and especially the ability to retreat faster than the aggressor.

Wouldn't make much difference because of the movement/stumble when rocked like this and you have to adjust your fighter to compensate anyways. They don't go straight back. Doubt they will be able to fix this. GPD already looked into it I believe.

How about they just eliminate the dang glitch where your fighter takes a step back before he can move forward? Like wtf, why has this been in both versions of the game.

You sure that isn't just your striking that causes that? I know this only happens to me when I am already looking to get back out of range and rock someone right before. I've actually stood and watched my fighter after rocking someone. They didn't go backwards. They went right into the sprint stance. No backwards movement.

If you hold forward it will move you backwards, you literally have to let go of the movement stick and wait for your fighter to reset before moving forward.

Never really noticed this. I guess it was the type of rock. Usually the hooks of pillow are right away available. I have noticed backwards movement, but that was usually me. Mainly using things like uppercuts. I'll take your word for it though. You definitely have the skill gap on me.

I think it's because I always finish my combos with a left high kick, so you need to hold back to do the kick, I will then release the backwards motion for the kick and then immediately push forward because I want to chase the rocked opponent, but it will make me step backwards before moving forwards. It's a glitch between finishing the quick and wanting to move forward, it somehow reads the kick as backward movement.

Remember there is a queue. You likely still had the stick back after you pressed the button to kick. So you moved back when they were rocked, but couldn't change directions right away because of the queue.
