Poll, should my caf have accurate reach?

Don't know what that means but I'm old. As a youth I climbed, and reach longer that height is positive ape index. In karate my sensei loved it because my legs are long as well and in karate tournament that can be huge advantage.

I know what ape index is but the rock climbing and long water pipes had me like

I always make my reach 2 inches short of the maximum, that way i have some reach and yet i am not totally lanky as ****.

I caught so much grief because of my long limbs until I had a job where co workers fought amateur mma and praised my length.

If I really did fight I would have to idea how to take advantage of reach though.
