Really surprised this has never been brought up.

Extremely often when locking in a choke, the choke actually never gets secured, or tight.. The animations are completely broken. This absolutely needs to be addressed in UFC 3.

I've seen all sorts of weirdness with these. Lose chokes, limbs going through the body, ect...

Most of the time I only notice if my opponents sub defense isn't very good. Pretty sure every time I've seen a choke submission the animation has looked wonky at the end.

Yeah,
I noticed this too with the inverted triangle.
Maybe due to the Many different body types.

Yeah the Inverted Triangle is especially bad. I refuse to even use it because the animation is so dorky.

But yeah, different body types is most probably the issue.

But I don't remember this being a problem in last gen MMA games, was it?
